You are permitted to use our Website solely on the basis of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to update and/or revise these Terms and Conditions. Please check periodically for changes.
1. Registration and contract
1.2 Barnfields Joinery reserves the right to alter or withdraw the online service at any time, to refuse the service to any customer and to amend these Terms and Conditions of this Website. If we make any changes to these terms, we will let you know as soon as possible by posting the changes on our Website and updating the date below. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website. Your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
1.3 You must be 18 years or over and must complete the registration procedure to use our online service.
1.4 By registering for this service you agree that the details provided by you on registration, or at any time, are correct and complete. You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details. You must give us your real name, address, phone number, email address and any other details that we may require to process your order.
1.6 It is your responsibility to keep your password secure. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw a password at our discretion. Your password is exclusive to you. It should not be shared and must be treated as confidential. If you become aware of misuse then you must Contact Us immediately.
1.8 We reserve the right to:
Decline a new customer registration or suspend or terminate a customer’s account at any time and at our sole discretion.
At our absolute discretion to terminate your access to all or part of this service with or without notice.
1.9 The contract between you and Barnfields Joinery is not concluded until such time as the goods are accepted at the time of delivery. You are entitled to refuse some of or all of the goods before signing for them. You, or someone aged 18 or over authorised by you, must be available to inspect the goods at the time of delivery.
1.10 Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date the goods are delivered to your UK address or are left with a person or place nominated by you. Barnfields Joinery will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the goods after delivery.
2. Description images and payment
2.1 The description and price of the goods you order is shown on the website at the time you place your order. Every effort is made to describe the products and show representative images of products and colours correctly.
2.2 Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product.
2.3 Payment for the goods, delivery charges and optional postal insurance can be made by any method of secure payment shown on the website at the time you place your order.
2.4 Immediate payment of the amount payable (listed on the shopping basket) is required for all orders, if immediate payment is not received we will cancel and reject the order.
2.5 There will be no delivery until cleared funds are received.
2.6 Payments shall be made by you without any deduction whatsoever, unless you have a valid coupon code, that you are permitted to use.
3.1 The goods you order will be delivered to the address you submit when you place your order.
3.2 If delivery cannot be made to your address because of a mistake made by us you will be informed as soon as possible and delivery will be re-scheduled and paid for by Barnfields Joinery
3.3 If you fail to take delivery of the goods for reasons not controlled by Barnfields Joinery and the item is returned to us, it is your responsibility to pay for a second attempt of delivery.
3.4 Every effort is made to dispatch the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted (please see our lead times for details).
3.5 If your order is damaged in transit you will need to make a damage claim so we can send you a replacement item. Orders are quality checked before dispatch - as a result, in the case of damaged goods you are accepting that the goods were not dispatched in a faulty condition. To make a damage claim please copy and paste the following questions into an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and answer them accordingly:

You are also required to attach a photograph of the damage.
WARNING All damage claims must be made within 5 working days (1 week) after you have taken receipt of delivery. If you do not provide us with the requested information within the 5 working days (1 week) you may not be able to make a claim. We have no control over this time scale, ParcelForce request that all damage claims are made within 5 working days (1 week).
3.6 All orders are shipped with a transit damage cover value of up to £100. If you are placing an order for a total goods amount of over £100 we recommend that you purchase the additional postal insurance offered.
WARNING Failure to purchase the additional postal insurance may result in you only being able to claim up to £100 for any order that is lost or damaged in transit.
3.7 All orders covered by postal insurance that are damaged in transit will be replaced up to the value of the claim agreed with the courier service.
Please Note We do not have any control over the damaged in transit procedure and a damaged in transit claim payout is the responsibility of ParcelForce, not Barnfields Joinery. Therefore, if ParcelForce reject a damaged in transit claim, we (Barnfields Joinery) will not be obliged to replace and/or repair the item free of cost.
3.8 Selecting the correct delivery method is your responsibility. If an error is found within 14 days of accepting your order, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer the option of reconfirming the order at the correct price, or cancelling the order.
If we do not receive reconfirmation within 14 days of informing you of the error, the order will be cancelled automatically. If you choose to cancel the order, or if the order is cancelled automatically due to the expiry of the 14 day period, we will refund your initial method of payment.
4.1 The goods are at the risk of the delivery company once we have received receipt of collection of the goods (once the goods have been dispatched).
4.2 The goods are at your (the customer) risk from the time you receive receipt of delivery.
5. Your right of cancellation
5.1 To exercise your right of cancellation or return, you must give written notice to us by post or email, giving details of the goods ordered and (if appropriate) the delivery. Notification by phone is not sufficient.
5.2 After payment has been made cancellations are accepted if manufacturing has not commenced.
We will refund your initial method of payment within 14 days.
5.3 After you have received the order returns are only accepted subject to a mistake make by Barnfields Joinery. We can either offer a replacement item (the correct item) or a refund.
You must let us know that you would like to return the item for a refund within 10 working days after you receive the order.
We cannot accept returned orders that have been used.
We cannot accept returned orders unless they are in the same condition as purchased.
To make a claim you must have proof that we sent you the wrong order.
5.4 For all bespoke services it must be understood that this product and/or service is manufactured to your exact requirements and will therefore be unique to you. As a result, we do not accept any returns for any bespoke services unless subject to a mistake made by Barnfields Joinery.
5.5 In the case of wrongly described goods, if you exercise your right of a refund after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Barnfields Joinery at your own cost.
5.6 In the case of damaged goods, if you exercise your right of a replacement/refund after the goods have been delivered to you, you are accepting that the goods were not dispatched in a faulty condition. For a replacement/refund you will have to make a postal insurance claim for the damages.
5.7 Goods that are not returned in a perfect condition will be reviewed and refunded/replaced accordingly.
5.8 Once you have notified us that you are cancelling the order (and if applicable we have received return delivery of the goods) we will refund your initial method of payment within 14 days.
6. Limitation of liability
6.1 We cannot be held responsible for personal injury (or death) caused to any person (or persons) whilst unpacking, handling, installing or removing our products.
6.2 We cannot be held responsible for personal injury (or death) caused to any person (or persons) who is involved in any accident caused by the insufficient installation of our products.
6.3 It is the responsibility of the fitter (not Barnfields Joinery) to ensure that the products are installed correctly.
6.4 If you are a trade customer Barnfields Joinery shall not be held responsible to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit, loss of business, depletion of goodwill or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for consequential compensation whatsoever (howsoever caused) which arise out of or in connection with this agreement.

8.1 These terms of sale and the supply of the goods will be subject to English law and the English courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract.
